A 's abstract oil paintings are heavily impastoed, which lends great energy to his subject matter including koi, paddy fields and local traditional scenery.

I'm working day and night to transfer the refined movements, colour schemes and style of the Koi fish etched in my memory and nurtured by my imagination onto the canvas.

Using the finger-painting technique and recently, also the pallet knife, he has captured the Koi in all manner of styles ranging from abstract to semi-abstract to impressionist.

Edi.A said he has learnt art simply by communicating with nature. "As a child my most engrossing pastime was watching the graceful movements of the Koi fish. I recreate the memories of my chilhood, colouring it with life's experiences to create my Koi paintings."

Edi.A's oil paintings of nature are also equally enthralling.
